This program includes themes of varied rhythms such as bolero, vals peruano, son, ranchero and others. Most of the songs are classic themes in genre, such as Bésame Mucho, Fina Estampa, Qué bonita es mi tierra.

You will also find songs of contemporary Mexican composers, such as Marcial Alejandro’s El Gavilán, or Enrique Langagne’s Calavera Catrina. These compositions have transcended borders in Latin America, and are definitely part of the musical and cultural richness of this part of the world. Authors of different nationalities have left a legacy in this wealth of themes, which we are pleased to present and hope you will enjoy.

If you feel like escaping Oxford at The Boulevard Apartments in Corinth, Texas for the day, this event is a perfect opportunity to do just that!

Event Time/Date:
Friday, August 5, 2016 - 7:00 PM

Event Venue Location:
Latino Cultural Center
2600 Live Oak Street
