Good Local Markets kicks off the 2017 season on Saturday, March 18 at the newest location, Tyler Street Market in Oak Cliff. Good Local Markets operates two markets in Dallas, with the White Rock Market beginning on April 1.
With more than 100 vendors throughout the year, popular growers, ranchers and artisans at Good Local Markets include Highway 19 Produce and Berries, Wolfsong Farms, Barefoot Baker, Tribal Juice, JuHa Ranch, Piney Woods Farm Alliance/Lonesome Lady Ranch, Noble Coyote Coffee Roasters, Merlin’s Baking & Catering, Schorlemer Haus, Empire Baking Company, Berrybest Farm (aka Dr. Blueberry), Alpha Omega Acres, Larconi Herbs and Produce, Chandler Family Farm, Hippos & Hashbrowns, Naturally Curly Cook, LBD Bakery & Boutique, Yims Food, Texas Hill Country Olive Oil, Texas Honeybee Guild, Gardeners In Community Development and many more.
Good Local Markets is a 501 (c)(3) tax exempt nonprofit organization which supports local farmers, ranchers and artisans by providing a public space to sell fruits, vegetables, cheese, meats, hand-crafted foods and other products while serving thousands of residents looking for healthy and locally sourced foods. Additionally Good Local Markets offers the Lone Star food stamp program, Love Your Farmer volunteer days, educational programs and workshops.
